Pathways
PATHWAYS is an album that pays tribute to the influences that have sculpted my creative course of action. I have had the great fortune of performing and learning from great masters of this music over the years such as Charlie Haden, Kenny Barron, and Chick Corea. I’ve tried to reflect those experiences in the compositions I wrote and selected for this album.
The quintet is comprised of some of my favorite musicians on the scene. their unique voices elevated the spirit of the compositions on this album. Staying true and honest in the moment is what I strive for and this group of musicians are a perfect example of that. John Ellis on tenor sax, Gary Versace on Piano, Joe Martin on Bass, and Obed Calvaire on drums.
